Sheet metal fabrication in Hull

Enclosures, panels and brackets, cut, folded and welded.

01 · Overview

Sheet metal parts checked for folding before they are cut.

Bend radii, flange lengths and hole positions decide whether a part folds cleanly or cracks. Getting them right on the drawing saves a second set of parts.

Steel, stainless and aluminium parts, TIG welded, dressed and finished in our workshop. A single enclosure or a batch of brackets from the same files.

Sheet metal questions

Not covered here? Call or WhatsApp and ask.

Which file formats do you accept?

DXF or DWG for flat parts, STEP for folded parts. PDF drawings are fine; we redraw them.

Why do bend radius and hole position affect the price?

Tight radii and holes close to a bend distort or crack, so they need extra operations or a redesign. We flag them before quoting so you can decide.

Do you make one-offs?

Yes. A single enclosure is a normal order. On a batch, the cost of each part comes down.

Which finish for outdoor use?

Stainless, or galvanised steel with a powder coat on top if it needs a colour.

Can you add inserts, studs and tapped holes?

Yes. Tapped holes, PEM-type inserts, weld studs and captive nuts are fitted before finishing.

Can you supply parts ready to install?

Yes. Parts can be supplied bare, painted or powder coated, with fixings, and we can install them on site if needed.
