Repairs and fabrication done where the work is.
Most damage to plant, trailers, structures and machinery can be repaired in place. We bring the welding rig, the power and the consumables for steel, stainless, aluminium and titanium, so the item does not have to be lifted, loaded and transported.
You get a written price before we start, a time we keep, and a weld that is dressed and checked before we pack up. If a part is beyond repair we say so and quote a replacement instead.

Hull & East YorkshireWhat we bring
| Processes | MIG and TIG. |
|---|---|
| Materials | Mild steel, stainless, aluminium, titanium |
| Power | Self-powered rigs. A site supply is useful but not needed. |
| Weather | Most weathers. We put shelter over the weld to keep the shielding gas where it should be. |
| Coverage | Hull and the East Riding most days. Further by arrangement. |
| Pricing | Fixed price or day rate, agreed in writing before work starts |
Every weld is dressed and checked before we leave the site.
If the repair needs a replacement section rather than a weld, we fabricate it and install it.

Mobile welding questions
Not covered here? Call or WhatsApp and ask.
What does mobile welding cost?
It depends on the repair, which is why we price from a photo. Small repairs are a fixed price. Longer or open-ended jobs are a day rate. You have the figure in writing before we leave the workshop.
Can you weld where there is no mains power?
Yes. The rigs generate their own power. Farms, roadside breakdowns, compounds and remote sites are routine.
Do you work outside in bad weather?
In most conditions, yes. If a safe, sound weld is not possible on the day we say so and come back.
Can you weld aluminium or stainless on site?
Yes, by TIG or MIG. Both need clean metal, so we prepare the joint properly before welding.
Is it better to bring the part to you?
If the part is small and comes off easily, usually yes. A workshop job usually costs less because there is no site set-up. If it is heavy, fixed or holding up a job, we come to it. Send a photo and we will tell you which makes sense.
What do you need from us on site?
Safe access to the job and somewhere to park the van close by. Power, gas and water are not needed; we bring our own.
